Hi.. the new year's almost here. Well, to some people, it's nothing because every day's the same. So what if it's 2008? hmm.. I guess it's quite true but the thing about a new year.. is that it's a good place to start a new chapter.. do something different and basically start fresh.
I have to say.. 2007 sucks to the core and I couldn't have pulled through without my friends and family. things got better towards end of the year =] after exams! So, I'm not complaining.. maybe things are really getting better with the new year coming. I hate fearing that I screwed my exams. Despite my attempts to forget it.. the horrors still find their way back to me in my dreams, waking me in the mornings..I know what's done cannot be undone but I seriously hate to imagine myself crying when I get my results because I failed my own expectations.
In any case, I shall still state my New Year Resolutions and try sticking to them.
1. Do well in whatever course I choose to take.
2. Get more exercise and be less stressed
3. Keep in touch with classmates
4. Maintain all relationships =]
5. Be a better me

My favourite! Tofu! Seriously, I don't care how you do it.. so long as it's tofu and non-spicy, I'll love it =]
More pumpkim..
First time taking long jing cha.. it's some chinese tea [oh, I'm growing to like tea.. it's makes one relax..]

You Are a Ring Finger |
You are romantic, expressive, and hopeful. You see the best in everything. You are very artistic, and you see the world as your canvas. You are also drawn to the written word. Inventive and unique, you are often away in your own inner world. You get along well with: The Pinky Stay away from: The Index Finger |
Your Love Quote |
Love is made by two people, in different kinds of solitude. It can be in a crowd, but in an oblivious crowd. |
I like this photo cos it's v affectionate.. Sometime I wish to be held this way too =]
It's a cat thing. Lol.. She like cats like her aunt [moi] and is shaking hands with one!
This was where I fell asleep after my JB trip and back home. Oh well.. wasn't a soft bed but heck, I was tired.
This is da 8 year old cat I was talkin about. It's really smart. I told him to come over and it did.. I stroke it for awhile and it decided that it had enough and wanted to sit on da chair instead. I love cats for their intelligence and agility =] He looks cool too ^_^ and oh.. he miaos like.. a sheep =_=
Was at OG Orchard Point and I thought this stuffed toy was rather cute =]

Hi people =]
I had a great time today and I feel blessed to have so many friends who care. Thanks jan, esther, zm, xinhui for da cards. Thanks to da frens who accompanied me these days. =] I had a lot of fun and learnt a few things that I wasn't sure of. Also, I've made new friends and bought new stuff >> one of them include my kaleidoscope. It's something I'd always wanted to have cos one can see things from many angles and this one is good because it uses the environment as it base instead of da usual silly glitter stuff for kids =]
thank you everyone! blessed be.

You Can Make 80% of Your Crushes Fall in Love With You |
Your seduction skills are practically legendary. You know how to close the deal. Just don't let someone you're really into get the better of you! As long as you keep up your end of the flirting game, you'll get the prize at the end. |
lol.. um.. I answered based on what I'd do. But then, =[ maybe it's not that accurate.
You Are a Mac |
You are creative, stylish, and super trendy. You demand the best - even if it costs an arm and a leg. |
Jasmine, you're 53% masculine
This is based on how you scored on a variety of traits that, founded on classic research and our own studies, are typically associated with men. You're also 47% feminine, which is based on how you scored on traits that are typically associated with women. When we compare your results with other women it shows that you are somewhat more musculine
You Are 60% Boyish and 40% Girlish |
You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch. Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes. You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them. You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be. |
uncle is glad that he found another werido.. =_-
You Are a Peacemaker Soul |
You strive to please others and compromise anyway you can. War or conflict bothers you, and you would do anything to keep the peace. You are a good mediator and a true negotiator. Sometimes you do too much, trying so hard to make people happy. While you keep the peace, you tend to be secretly judgmental. You lose respect for people who don't like to both give and take. On the flip side, you've got a great sense of humor and wit. You're always diplomatic and able to give good advice. Souls you are most compatible with: Warrior Soul, Hunter Soul and Visionary Soul |
I think I've seen some compatible souls.. but being compatible is just that. Compatible.
You Are 15% Left Brained, 85% Right Brained |
The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning. Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others. If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic. Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet. The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility. Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way. If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art. Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports. |
I love music and daydreaming..Music speaks a lot..

What Your Handwriting Says About You |
You are very extroverted and outgoing. You are loving, friendly, and supportive. However, you are also manipulative and controlling at times. You are balanced and grounded. You know how to get along well with others. You need a bit of space in your life, but you're not a recluse. You expect people to give you a small amount of privacy, and you respect their privacy as well. You are somewhat traditional, but you are also open to change. You listen to your head and your heart. You are a decent communicator. You eventually get your point across, but sometimes you leave things a bit ambiguous. |

Where do you think you'd find me in the school at lunch times?
-the bookshop! haha.. I think I'd developed the habit since young.. I love visiting bookshops for whatever's worth..ya. Just a small fact. So if you can't find me in da shopping centre, chances are, I've sat down and started reading something in da bookshop =p
ok..apart from that, what do I remember about primary school life? I remember Mrs Helen Lim? Guess why? Cos she's da nice teacher who'd bill me out when I got into trouble =p I'm a troublemaker! haha.. In the past, gals in my school don't usually dare to go into the staff room. But I was da little girl who popped my head through that door, looking for teachers to talk to.. I fell down a lot when I was young. Haha.. and I remembered this nice uncle who carried me all the way to the office and asked someone to attend to me =] thanks!
On teachers' day, I kissed da principal. I think her name is.. Mrs Francis. Yea, she was a kind lady who helped me a lot too.. I kicked the bloody door of the bus when the driver didn't want to let me in.[I wasn't late or anything.. I just wanted to buy some food to share with other gals.. he just didn't like me] Luckily, I didn't have to pay..but I was pretty freaked out.
Next.. Gals, remember da AVA room? We loved that room cos it had air-conditioner!! lol.. and that's where they keep us for taking report books remember? We had lots of fun playing twister [getting twisted] and connect four..and others!

You Are a Fierce Femme |
You have a wild side, and you aren't afraid to bring it out when the time is right. But you also know when to hang back and keep your "crazy chick" persona in check. In fact, some of your friends may be surprised to find out how far you can take it... You may look mild mannered, but it's all an act! |
You Are Fall! |
Expressive Creative Poetic Smart |
You Are 15 Years Old |
Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe. 13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world. 20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences. 30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more! 40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax. |
You Are Picky When it Counts |
Like most sane women, you want a great guy who will treat you well. But you're also willing to put up with a few flaws in your Mr. Right You should congratulate yourself on having a realistic approach to dating. You probably have quite a few great guys you can date! |
You Are a Light Pink Rose |
You represent sweetness and grace. Your vibe: Kind and gentle Falling in love with you: is like falling in love with a best friend |
You Are 68% Intuitive |
You are a very intuitive person. And luckily, your intuition is normally right. You're wise enough to know that relying on intuition alone can be dangerous. When your intuition seems really off, you tend to ignore it - and look at the facts instead. |
Your Psyche is Yellow |
You have a ton of energy - both physical and mental endurance. You are rational and logical, and you can help almost anyone think clearly. Optimistic and bright, you also have a secret side that's a little darker. When you are too yellow: You will do anything to get your way, and no one will be the wiser When you don't have enough yellow: you lack confidence, drive, and humor |
Your Love Song Is |
Sitting, Waiting, Wishing by Jack Johnson "Maybe you've been through this before But it's my first time so please ignore The next few lines cause they're directed at you I can't always be waiting, waiting on you I can't always be playing, playing your fool" You've been waiting for love, and you're not going to wait any longer! |
alright. I see some people do like to read mon autobiographie [my autobiography. I hope I got it right this time?]
but before I begin, I wanna tell you about one of my favourite shows- Survivor. I couldn't watch every episode when I was younger because of studies but I liked it since it started. I can observe a lot and learn from da show..also, it has a lot of fun games that you can use for camps ;) in each game, we see people competing with each other to win that 1 million dollars. To get that, some people resorted to lying, back-stabbing and do all sorts of strange things for some money.. Sure, many people love money but how far will you go to win? how far will you go to get those money? I was surprised when the people in the game said they wouldn't backstab someone and ended up doing so.. [then saying they had no choice. but the choice was always theirs to make..] still, who won't waver when they have a chance to get some quick bucks? So I was wondering if being a survivor means being a good liar. To survive= to be despicable=hypocrite? 做人难, 做好人更难。that means it's difficult to be a person and it's even harder to be a good one. Cos sometimes, the line between good and bad is just not so clear.. I guess we all have to make choices in our lives and we bear the consequences that come after..
ok.. enough of weird talk by jasmine.. back for some juicy story?
right. I guess I was in a hurry to finish up on my primary school life.. but I think there are still quite a lot worth mentioning and I should when I still remember.=] so, here we go again!
P1
I had this really nice senior who was my lunch buddy.. She paid for some of my meals and was a nice big sister who showed me how the school works what I should do and how to sing songs after meals..
gals, remember this song taken from Edelwise?
Thank you lord, for this meal...thank you lord for your blah blah..
..
bloom and grow forever..
[can't remember all the words!]
I love playing scissors paper stone with the others on a balancing bar.. it's like this: you line up along a balancing bar of increasing height.. then you do da scissors paper stone thing with da gal at da highest.[She's the best if she stays on for a long time] Losers jump off and start over.
I also like hopscotch, five stones, skipping ropes and monkey bars! Man, those bars were my favourites.. There's one that's larger and one that's smaller. So when I was in P1-P2 I used da short one.. we used to jump onto it from opposite sides, climb to the middle and fight! [lol, kick with our legs of course.] next to the PE container there's this thing with two bars and you use it to train arm muscles.. [see how long you can use your arms to hold your weight.] I like to hang upside down and look at the people.. it's fun =]
P3-P6
I had 2 CCAs in the primary school.. switch from Art club to Science club and back to Art club.. I have to say, I love both science and art =] I painted da PE container =p I used to draw quite well =] Music was my all time favourite.. You don't really need to know a lot but you can play a lot from there. But I hate it when they ask us to play those boring short pieces.. no challenge and not nice =p I remember that hall.. where we would have music lessons and talks. It wasn't very big but it was cosy.. especially when jasmine is still v little =p I like lying on the floor and looking up at the ceiling after class. Haha.. don't ask me why.. it's da sort of strange thing only I would do..
We have a nice garden with a pond full of tadpoles. [strange, I realise I didn't see any frogs hopping around then] As a kid, I'd always scoop some tadpoles up and see them swimming in my container, watching/talking to them before putting them back. We had snails and I remember some gals like to throw them into the pond. poor snails, they got murdered! A teacher called Ms Loh, with lotsa white hair, loved plants. Sometimes I'd skip lunch to talk to her and see the beautiful poppies she'd grown. [I used to have the idea that when one is old, she's automatically a mrs.. so I was rather puzzled why she has so much white hair and was still Ms]
to be continued..

yup! today's a good day and I can finally continue with da story of ma vie! [my life in french]
Before I start, click here to see a short clip on Rape of Nanking. [note: for history fanatics only] I went for this movie with Esther, Shu Huey and Benjamin at vivocity. We had a great half day, with Xinhui joining us for lunch. The show was a historical documentary on the rape of nanking in 1937. I cried a bit when they told the heart-wrenching story..go watch! a bit ex though..
ok.. back to primary sch ^_^ Anne Marie was my best friend then, we were da 'pervert' pair as others would call us.. cos we did a lot of lesbian stuff together for fun. She kissed me on da cheek before but it's also an innocent kiss ~_^ and then there's da puppy love with chang xun and gareth tan [i think I have this thing for smart guys..] gosh.. I just fly to them like magnets =p
I remember they said my old school was haunted.. last time some girls saw a black thumb jumping along the corridor and I saw green bubbly yucky stuff in the toilet. There were bats in the school too.. creepy. Things get crappy too. I rmb I was in P4 and so I was going for after classes. I think some P3 girl couldn't hold her crap any longer and crapped on da CHAIR! OMG!! =_= yea.. in class, I was da inquisitive yakkatie kid. Sometimes I ask so much, the teachers didn't wanna answer me =[ Still remember my fav. teacher was Ms Aisha.. she introduced friendly competition and yup.. i was one of da winner.. duh! haha
P5, I had this Ms Argatha Tan as my form teacher. She nice, just a bit weird..Still remember she gave me a story book as a reward.. yea, I guess schools like to give storybooks? Been getting since kindergarten! Gosh.. I had this big bedtime story book tat I read to myself =p
P6..I was da class rep. But I was too rebellious and didn't like to do things by my teacher's method. So i got sacked. but I proved to be a good helper after that anyway and she liked me better =p Something sad happened that year.. a gal i knew committed suicide. A few days before that, she looked fine.. sigh.. what a waste.
PSLE? Final exam? I was quite stressed cos I didn't do very well for prelims~ but I ended with 248 anyway.. not too bad =p
In summary.. primary school was ok. Just my playground..

And so, let's move on to my primary school life??
How did you start out on the very first day of formal education? I was well.. just as rebellious as ever. At the first assembly, everyone [even da other new primary one kids] stood at attention and sang the anthem.. i was the only one who DELIBERATELY swayed from side to side [I know, I can be such a pain in the butt] I was in 1,2,3,4 peace and 5/6 hope. 3 friends that still stayed quite close - candice, anne marie and ong yu quan..
In school, we did a lot of crazy things and I guess some of them drove my teachers crazy..
In primary one, I was still a bit hopeless in math.. I never understood what 0 means. I thought 0 meant nothing.. so when the teacher, Ms Chia [then Mrs Lim] told us to draw a line of 5 cm, I always gave 4.. get the idea? Yea, maybe I really sucked in maths..first time i got cheated by a friend and called the police hotline by mistake..really
my chinese teachers loved me except for one.. Huang lao shi.. slapped me cos I forged my signature for a test in P4.. and she said I wasn't anything good when I was trying to comfort my friend, Emmaline Yip who got scolded for some small stuff..
to be continued..

How To Seduce a Guy
If you want to learn how to seduce a guy then you need to look no further than your bedroom mirror. You don't have to look like a super model, but the most important first step is to improve and take care of your own reflection in the mirror. Most women are not perfect but there are usually some pretty easy steps to making yourself look the best you can. If there is a night coming up where you want to try and seduce that special man, you first should make sure that you look impeccable. Get your hair done, wax your lip, shave EVERYTHING, paint your toenails, get a manicure and get the best outfit which flatters you the most. Pretend like you are going out for a night out at the opera. Just do it up girly style. The best part about trying to seduce a man is the fact that you get to pamper yourself! A man appreciates a woman who appreciates herself. When you are all done up for him it says to the guy that you care about yourself and the date. Men love this!
Not all men are easily seduced but let's face it, many are. Basically, it is usually the women who make the decision on if sex will or will not be a factor that evening. The guy just takes what he can get. Knowing this you should be stricken with a sense of self confidence that will make the night wild. Men love confidence. When a woman holds a feeling of power above the men, it makes guys weak in the knees, he will practically do anything to get a nip of that love you have for him. But when it comes down to having sex, let the guy make the first move but let him know that he is able to, give him all the green lights. Let him control the situation because men love to be in control during the first sessions of sex. At the same time, also let him know you want it...badly. Moan when he kisses you in the right spot, hold him close to you and squeeze with your fingers. This will turn him on like crazy because it will tell him that you are REALLY into it. That is make him feel so good, so desirable, that he won't be able to hold back.
There are plenty of little sexual secrets and stimuli that you can learn from our favorite seduction site Her Secrets. This is a great website where some of the best seduction and sexual secrets are given to women to help them learn how to make a guy want you 365 days of the year. The best part about this training is that once you have a guy locked down by your miraculous sexual skills, they will likely never leave you. They sure as hell won't want some other guy benefiting from all that you have to offer!
When you are seducing a guy you should remember two very important things. 1)Look him in the eye and 2) be verbal. When in the middle of your passion, look him straight in the eye. This is such a turn on for both of you! It will heighten his awareness. Don't be too shy to be verbal. Tell him what feels good and what he could do to make it better for you, and when he does it just right let him know. Men love to be taught and they love to know when they are pleasing you. You don't want to just lie there like a dead fish, let him know that he is turning you on!

Dating Guide for Teenagers
Dating is one of the most exciting periods of your life. Suddenly, there are new horizons before you, friendships flower, your personality blooms, and your sense of being a desirable person worthy of affection becomes real. This is a time of great exhilaration, splendor, and discovery. To live it fully is to enjoy one of life's most delightful experiences.
To miss out on dating is a shame and a waste, especially when there is still time to do something about it. Dating is an art, and like all arts it must be cultivated to give results. Approach it with honesty, enthusiasm, energy, and it begins to take form. And soon you have answers to the questions that were worrying you.
Long before you actually start dating, you dream about it. Wistfully, you see other fellows and girls out together on dates, laughing, talking, going places, having a seemingly effortless, wonderful time.
Before you ever get a date, you see yourself as the gallant hero or the glamorous heroine of a romantic situation. You imagine all the right words and actions so easily, so vividly, that you can hardly wait to start dating.
Yet, somewhere inside you anticipate the awkward moments when you will stand tongue-tied and clumsy before some very special person, finding that dating is anything but wonderful. And so you swing between eagerness and anxiety, impatient to try your wings at one moment, and afraid of a take-off in the next.
When you consider the nature of dating, this emotional see-sawing is quite understandable. For dating fun is different from the fun a boy has playing ball with the fellows or the joy a girl knows confiding in her closest chum.
In dating you are involved with persons of the other sex. You are learning about these other special people. And in the process you are also discovering a great deal about yourself. You are on the threshold of a new kind of experience that is grown-up, romantic, and full of promise for your life ahead as a full-fledged adult.
Probably you are wondering when you can start participating in this new exciting experience. For some of you the answer will be easy. If you belong to a closely knit group that does everything together, having dates within that circle of familiar friends will come naturally and simply. But for the majority of young people the answer is not so easy.
Overcoming Bashfulness
Shyness with members of the other sex is common among young people. You are not alone in this problem. Getting over self-consciousness to the point where you can relax and be friendly with those you most admire is a challenge.
The more thrilled you are with the presence of the other person, the more likely you are to be embarrassed, it seems. But with experience you gradually become more comfortable with the opposite sex.
Then, as you develop poise and self-confidence, you discover and put into practice more and more of the art of dating. How to develop that poise and confidence is the question.
Since girls grow up sooner, and are ready for dates before boys of their age and grade generally are, a particular problem for a teen-age girl is how to get a bashful boy to notice her. This is why girls' clubs so often center around planning boy-girl activities. Many a shy boy has come out of himself at a well-planned party. With encouragement he finds that he can carry on a conversation and have fun in a mixed group.
Soon he, too, is ready for dates, usually first with the girl who was friendly and approachable while he was getting up his courage to ask her.
A fellow needs to be reasonably sure a girl wants to go out with him before he asks her. So it's a girl's responsibility to let a boy know that she is interested in him, without behaving so boldly that she scares him off.
When Girls Take the Initiative
There is a thin line between being available and being too forward. The girl who gets a reputation for being a flirt finds that many of the nicer boys and girls avoid her. Yet, when a girl acts too demure or feigns coolness or disinterest out of fear, she may chase boys away and miss out on the fun of friendship and dating. It is important to remember that boys are also scared and shy, and a smile or gesture from you can begin a friendship.
Girls frequently ask if it's all right to telephone the boys they like. Well-let's look at it from the boy's point of view. If Joan calls Bill about a specific question, or to invite him to some definite affair, he can respond without necessarily feeling that she has put him on the spot. If she calls repeatedly, or for no particular purpose except to chat aimlessly, his family may tease him and he becomes embarrassed by her "chasing."
Custom has it that a girl may speak first when meeting a boy on the street or in the hallway at school. She doesn't have to wait for the boy to nod or address her. It's simple courtesy that she recognizes him with some friendly greeting or gesture. She does this by making some pleasant sign that she recognizes the boy, and that she feels friendly toward him. She may smile or nod, or say "Hello" or "Hi, Bill!" Perhaps she'll add some casual remark.
But a girl should not interrupt a boy who is talking to someone or is with a group of fellows, or is obviously absorbed in something else. That, too, is simple courtesy. If a boy indicates his awareness of her by disengaging himself from the group, or shows her in some other way that he knows she's there, she greets him.
A girl gets a reputation for being "fast" not because she's friendly toward boys but because of the way she behaves when they are around. The "forward" girl overly emphasizes the fact that she's a female-by the way in which she dresses, walks, talks, looks, and laughs. She goes beyond the bounds of what is considered "nice" in her attention to the boys. By her seductiveness she encourages boys to be too fresh, too loud, and too boisterous.
Is it ever all right for a girl to chase a boy? Throughout the ages women have found ways of being appealing and interesting to the men they have liked. Nowadays girls are taking more initiative than ever. The important thing is that a girl not be too obvious, or she defeats her own purpose. It's best if she waits for some sign of a boy's interest before she embarks on a campaign. And then she must make it look as though he, rather than she, is the pursuer.
In Grandma's formula, it's all right for a girl to "chase a fellow until he catches her."
