You Are a Fierce Femme

You have a wild side, and you aren't afraid to bring it out when the time is right.
But you also know when to hang back and keep your "crazy chick" persona in check.
In fact, some of your friends may be surprised to find out how far you can take it...
You may look mild mannered, but it's all an act!

You Are Fall!

Thoughtful
Expressive
Creative
Poetic
Smart
yups! I'm born in August>>Fall ;)

Your Love Song Is

Sitting, Waiting, Wishing by Jack Johnson

"Maybe you've been through this before
But it's my first time so please ignore
The next few lines cause they're directed at you
I can't always be waiting, waiting on you
I can't always be playing, playing your fool"

You've been waiting for love, and you're not going to wait any longer!
I've waited so long anyway.. oh wells.
alright. I see some people do like to read mon autobiographie [my autobiography. I hope I got it right this time?]

but before I begin, I wanna tell you about one of my favourite shows- Survivor. I couldn't watch every episode when I was younger because of studies but I liked it since it started. I can observe a lot and learn from da show..also, it has a lot of fun games that you can use for camps ;) in each game, we see people competing with each other to win that 1 million dollars. To get that, some people resorted to lying, back-stabbing and do all sorts of strange things for some money.. Sure, many people love money but how far will you go to win? how far will you go to get those money? I was surprised when the people in the game said they wouldn't backstab someone and ended up doing so.. [then saying they had no choice. but the choice was always theirs to make..] still, who won't waver when they have a chance to get some quick bucks? So I was wondering if being a survivor means being a good liar. To survive= to be despicable=hypocrite? 做人难, 做好人更难。that means it's difficult to be a person and it's even harder to be a good one. Cos sometimes, the line between good and bad is just not so clear.. I guess we all have to make choices in our lives and we bear the consequences that come after..

ok.. enough of weird talk by jasmine.. back for some juicy story?

right. I guess I was in a hurry to finish up on my primary school life.. but I think there are still quite a lot worth mentioning and I should when I still remember.=] so, here we go again!

P1

I had this really nice senior who was my lunch buddy.. She paid for some of my meals and was a nice big sister who showed me how the school works what I should do and how to sing songs after meals..

gals, remember this song taken from Edelwise?

Thank you lord, for this meal...thank you lord for your blah blah..

..

bloom and grow forever..

[can't remember all the words!]

I love playing scissors paper stone with the others on a balancing bar.. it's like this: you line up along a balancing bar of increasing height.. then you do da scissors paper stone thing with da gal at da highest.[She's the best if she stays on for a long time] Losers jump off and start over.

I also like hopscotch, five stones, skipping ropes and monkey bars! Man, those bars were my favourites.. There's one that's larger and one that's smaller. So when I was in P1-P2 I used da short one.. we used to jump onto it from opposite sides, climb to the middle and fight! [lol, kick with our legs of course.] next to the PE container there's this thing with two bars and you use it to train arm muscles.. [see how long you can use your arms to hold your weight.] I like to hang upside down and look at the people.. it's fun =]

P3-P6

I had 2 CCAs in the primary school.. switch from Art club to Science club and back to Art club.. I have to say, I love both science and art =] I painted da PE container =p I used to draw quite well =] Music was my all time favourite.. You don't really need to know a lot but you can play a lot from there. But I hate it when they ask us to play those boring short pieces.. no challenge and not nice =p I remember that hall.. where we would have music lessons and talks. It wasn't very big but it was cosy.. especially when jasmine is still v little =p I like lying on the floor and looking up at the ceiling after class. Haha.. don't ask me why.. it's da sort of strange thing only I would do..

We have a nice garden with a pond full of tadpoles. [strange, I realise I didn't see any frogs hopping around then] As a kid, I'd always scoop some tadpoles up and see them swimming in my container, watching/talking to them before putting them back. We had snails and I remember some gals like to throw them into the pond. poor snails, they got murdered! A teacher called Ms Loh, with lotsa white hair, loved plants. Sometimes I'd skip lunch to talk to her and see the beautiful poppies she'd grown. [I used to have the idea that when one is old, she's automatically a mrs.. so I was rather puzzled why she has so much white hair and was still Ms]

to be continued..

Thursday, December 20, 2007

yup! today's a good day and I can finally continue with da story of ma vie! [my life in french]

Before I start, click here to see a short clip on Rape of Nanking. [note: for history fanatics only] I went for this movie with Esther, Shu Huey and Benjamin at vivocity. We had a great half day, with Xinhui joining us for lunch. The show was a historical documentary on the rape of nanking in 1937. I cried a bit when they told the heart-wrenching story..go watch! a bit ex though..

ok.. back to primary sch ^_^ Anne Marie was my best friend then, we were da 'pervert' pair as others would call us.. cos we did a lot of lesbian stuff together for fun. She kissed me on da cheek before but it's also an innocent kiss ~_^ and then there's da puppy love with chang xun and gareth tan [i think I have this thing for smart guys..] gosh.. I just fly to them like magnets =p

I remember they said my old school was haunted.. last time some girls saw a black thumb jumping along the corridor and I saw green bubbly yucky stuff in the toilet. There were bats in the school too.. creepy. Things get crappy too. I rmb I was in P4 and so I was going for after classes. I think some P3 girl couldn't hold her crap any longer and crapped on da CHAIR! OMG!! =_= yea.. in class, I was da inquisitive yakkatie kid. Sometimes I ask so much, the teachers didn't wanna answer me =[ Still remember my fav. teacher was Ms Aisha.. she introduced friendly competition and yup.. i was one of da winner.. duh! haha

P5, I had this Ms Argatha Tan as my form teacher. She nice, just a bit weird..Still remember she gave me a story book as a reward.. yea, I guess schools like to give storybooks? Been getting since kindergarten! Gosh.. I had this big bedtime story book tat I read to myself =p

P6..I was da class rep. But I was too rebellious and didn't like to do things by my teacher's method. So i got sacked. but I proved to be a good helper after that anyway and she liked me better =p Something sad happened that year.. a gal i knew committed suicide. A few days before that, she looked fine.. sigh.. what a waste.

PSLE? Final exam? I was quite stressed cos I didn't do very well for prelims~ but I ended with 248 anyway.. not too bad =p

In summary.. primary school was ok. Just my playground..

Saturday, December 15, 2007

And so, let's move on to my primary school life??

How did you start out on the very first day of formal education? I was well.. just as rebellious as ever. At the first assembly, everyone [even da other new primary one kids] stood at attention and sang the anthem.. i was the only one who DELIBERATELY swayed from side to side [I know, I can be such a pain in the butt] I was in 1,2,3,4 peace and 5/6 hope. 3 friends that still stayed quite close - candice, anne marie and ong yu quan..

In school, we did a lot of crazy things and I guess some of them drove my teachers crazy..

In primary one, I was still a bit hopeless in math.. I never understood what 0 means. I thought 0 meant nothing.. so when the teacher, Ms Chia [then Mrs Lim] told us to draw a line of 5 cm, I always gave 4.. get the idea? Yea, maybe I really sucked in maths..first time i got cheated by a friend and called the police hotline by mistake..really
my chinese teachers loved me except for one.. Huang lao shi.. slapped me cos I forged my signature for a test in P4.. and she said I wasn't anything good when I was trying to comfort my friend, Emmaline Yip who got scolded for some small stuff..

to be continued..

Check out these! Haha.. been looking at animal courtship rituals and comparing with human ones.. not v different right? Just a bit more complex =p

How To Seduce a Guy
If you want to learn how to seduce a guy then you need to look no further than your bedroom mirror. You don't have to look like a super model, but the most important first step is to improve and take care of your own reflection in the mirror. Most women are not perfect but there are usually some pretty easy steps to making yourself look the best you can. If there is a night coming up where you want to try and seduce that special man, you first should make sure that you look impeccable. Get your hair done, wax your lip, shave EVERYTHING, paint your toenails, get a manicure and get the best outfit which flatters you the most. Pretend like you are going out for a night out at the opera. Just do it up girly style. The best part about trying to seduce a man is the fact that you get to pamper yourself! A man appreciates a woman who appreciates herself. When you are all done up for him it says to the guy that you care about yourself and the date. Men love this!
Not all men are easily seduced but let's face it, many are. Basically, it is usually the women who make the decision on if sex will or will not be a factor that evening. The guy just takes what he can get. Knowing this you should be stricken with a sense of self confidence that will make the night wild. Men love confidence. When a woman holds a feeling of power above the men, it makes guys weak in the knees, he will practically do anything to get a nip of that love you have for him. But when it comes down to having sex, let the guy make the first move but let him know that he is able to, give him all the green lights. Let him control the situation because men love to be in control during the first sessions of sex. At the same time, also let him know you want it...badly. Moan when he kisses you in the right spot, hold him close to you and squeeze with your fingers. This will turn him on like crazy because it will tell him that you are REALLY into it. That is make him feel so good, so desirable, that he won't be able to hold back.
There are plenty of little sexual secrets and stimuli that you can learn from our favorite seduction site Her Secrets. This is a great website where some of the best seduction and sexual secrets are given to women to help them learn how to make a guy want you 365 days of the year. The best part about this training is that once you have a guy locked down by your miraculous sexual skills, they will likely never leave you. They sure as hell won't want some other guy benefiting from all that you have to offer!
When you are seducing a guy you should remember two very important things. 1)Look him in the eye and 2) be verbal. When in the middle of your passion, look him straight in the eye. This is such a turn on for both of you! It will heighten his awareness. Don't be too shy to be verbal. Tell him what feels good and what he could do to make it better for you, and when he does it just right let him know. Men love to be taught and they love to know when they are pleasing you. You don't want to just lie there like a dead fish, let him know that he is turning you on!

Dating Guide for Teenagers
Dating is one of the most exciting periods of your life. Suddenly, there are new horizons before you, friendships flower, your personality blooms, and your sense of being a desirable person worthy of affection becomes real. This is a time of great exhilaration, splendor, and discovery. To live it fully is to enjoy one of life's most delightful experiences.
To miss out on dating is a shame and a waste, especially when there is still time to do something about it. Dating is an art, and like all arts it must be cultivated to give results. Approach it with honesty, enthusiasm, energy, and it begins to take form. And soon you have answers to the questions that were worrying you.
Long before you actually start dating, you dream about it. Wistfully, you see other fellows and girls out together on dates, laughing, talking, going places, having a seemingly effortless, wonderful time.
Before you ever get a date, you see yourself as the gallant hero or the glamorous heroine of a romantic situation. You imagine all the right words and actions so easily, so vividly, that you can hardly wait to start dating.
Yet, somewhere inside you anticipate the awkward moments when you will stand tongue-tied and clumsy before some very special person, finding that dating is anything but wonderful. And so you swing between eagerness and anxiety, impatient to try your wings at one moment, and afraid of a take-off in the next.
When you consider the nature of dating, this emotional see-sawing is quite understandable. For dating fun is different from the fun a boy has playing ball with the fellows or the joy a girl knows confiding in her closest chum.
In dating you are involved with persons of the other sex. You are learning about these other special people. And in the process you are also discovering a great deal about yourself. You are on the threshold of a new kind of experience that is grown-up, romantic, and full of promise for your life ahead as a full-fledged adult.
Probably you are wondering when you can start participating in this new exciting experience. For some of you the answer will be easy. If you belong to a closely knit group that does everything together, having dates within that circle of familiar friends will come naturally and simply. But for the majority of young people the answer is not so easy.

Overcoming Bashfulness
Shyness with members of the other sex is common among young people. You are not alone in this problem. Getting over self-consciousness to the point where you can relax and be friendly with those you most admire is a challenge.
The more thrilled you are with the presence of the other person, the more likely you are to be embarrassed, it seems. But with experience you gradually become more comfortable with the opposite sex.
Then, as you develop poise and self-confidence, you discover and put into practice more and more of the art of dating. How to develop that poise and confidence is the question.
Since girls grow up sooner, and are ready for dates before boys of their age and grade generally are, a particular problem for a teen-age girl is how to get a bashful boy to notice her. This is why girls' clubs so often center around planning boy-girl activities. Many a shy boy has come out of himself at a well-planned party. With encouragement he finds that he can carry on a conversation and have fun in a mixed group.
Soon he, too, is ready for dates, usually first with the girl who was friendly and approachable while he was getting up his courage to ask her.
A fellow needs to be reasonably sure a girl wants to go out with him before he asks her. So it's a girl's responsibility to let a boy know that she is interested in him, without behaving so boldly that she scares him off.
When Girls Take the Initiative
There is a thin line between being available and being too forward. The girl who gets a reputation for being a flirt finds that many of the nicer boys and girls avoid her. Yet, when a girl acts too demure or feigns coolness or disinterest out of fear, she may chase boys away and miss out on the fun of friendship and dating. It is important to remember that boys are also scared and shy, and a smile or gesture from you can begin a friendship.
Girls frequently ask if it's all right to telephone the boys they like. Well-let's look at it from the boy's point of view. If Joan calls Bill about a specific question, or to invite him to some definite affair, he can respond without necessarily feeling that she has put him on the spot. If she calls repeatedly, or for no particular purpose except to chat aimlessly, his family may tease him and he becomes embarrassed by her "chasing."
Custom has it that a girl may speak first when meeting a boy on the street or in the hallway at school. She doesn't have to wait for the boy to nod or address her. It's simple courtesy that she recognizes him with some friendly greeting or gesture. She does this by making some pleasant sign that she recognizes the boy, and that she feels friendly toward him. She may smile or nod, or say "Hello" or "Hi, Bill!" Perhaps she'll add some casual remark.
But a girl should not interrupt a boy who is talking to someone or is with a group of fellows, or is obviously absorbed in something else. That, too, is simple courtesy. If a boy indicates his awareness of her by disengaging himself from the group, or shows her in some other way that he knows she's there, she greets him.
A girl gets a reputation for being "fast" not because she's friendly toward boys but because of the way she behaves when they are around. The "forward" girl overly emphasizes the fact that she's a female-by the way in which she dresses, walks, talks, looks, and laughs. She goes beyond the bounds of what is considered "nice" in her attention to the boys. By her seductiveness she encourages boys to be too fresh, too loud, and too boisterous.
Is it ever all right for a girl to chase a boy? Throughout the ages women have found ways of being appealing and interesting to the men they have liked. Nowadays girls are taking more initiative than ever. The important thing is that a girl not be too obvious, or she defeats her own purpose. It's best if she waits for some sign of a boy's interest before she embarks on a campaign. And then she must make it look as though he, rather than she, is the pursuer.
In Grandma's formula, it's all right for a girl to "chase a fellow until he catches her."

Your Score: The Contented

31% insecure, 18% cynical, 20% machiavellian, 80% plastic

The Contented type has a positive self-image. Because they lack the powerful motivational influence of insecurity, they are less likely to want to manipulate others or be manipulated using methods like ego stroking. A truly Contented type is the sort who would even correct a misunderstanding that worked in their own favour, as when an audience misinterprets what they say as supporting something that the audience wanted them to say.

They aren't very liberal in handing out compliments, giving credit only where it is due, the value of compliments from a Contented type thereby having a higher premium for Bridget types, who can sometimes fixate on them because of this.

Since Contented types have a positive self-image, they won't devalue others who express a strong liking for them, so showering affection over them will not necessarily put them off. Likewise, The Contented type will not be put off by Seducers or Cynics who withhold praise since they don't particularly crave it. Contented types are unlikely to get along with Cult Leaders though because their inability to be manipulated will provoke hostility in the latter.

Guys, click here for some inspiration! Aww.. I want that too! Shall try to work towards that goal. =]
And so.. I promised to do an autobio right? Shall try to make it as interesting as possible. I guess everyone's life is exciting. We grow up and along the way, we face difficulties, made mistakes.. but it's all part and parcel of life, isn't it?
Blessed with good long term memory, I can remember quite a lot of events throughout 18 years of my life. =] I shall say as much as I want and if you want to know more, you can come ask me =p

Ok, let's start with the baby years.. Mmm, honestly, I don't remember what I was like when I was a baby. I saw some of my photos as a toddler..

I don't remember staying at Poh Huat road.. so these are really da early years. As you can see, I was much fairer then. Guess da melatonin gene was turned on as I got older. yikes. Yup, I love my bike and I love soft toys. I'm quite different from most girls cos usually, girls just like to play girly toys? But I can switch comfortably from boyish ones to girly ones. [Was more boyish when I was younger =p] Mum told me I could have been badly hurt once cos I fell out of the cot while trying to climb out. But I fell on all fours and didn't cry. So my sis was a little shocked cos they couldn't find me [I think I could have crawled out of the room =p]

So, I moved to a new house in Hougang =] where I spent most of my 18 years.. and I went taking photos with my mum at the park. Think I was in pre-school then.

Though I'm in a dress, I never really liked wearing one then [I always thought it obstructed my movement and I was known to be hyperactive according to my teacher in Clifford Kindergarten.

Interesting things happened when I was a kindergarten kid? Haha.. I remember some names.. Wei Tian, Su Hoon(who was in SJC), Yong Sheng(who was in cath high), Kenneth,Xiao Wei (2 of them) Johnathan (Can still remember his look, a bit nerdy. oops, sorry!) My teachers.. I don't remember their names but I know they were all female!

So what kinda funny things happened? I remember that Clifford Kindergarten (CK) was the top floor next to Emporium (the current kovan heartland mall). First day of school- cry!! haha.. Hey, though I love to make friends, it's still my very first day of school and I clung to dad like a koala! But after I went it =D I forgot all about my dad =p Flipped through my exercise books last time and I had horrible handwriting (I guess I like my handwriting now? But dad still thinks it's horrible). I ace spelling but flunked maths.. oh well, see? Told you I hate counting! There was once I rocked my chair and got caught by the teacher and she punished me by getting me to stand on the table. I didn't think it was a punishment anyway.. Thought it was quite fun! Tabletop dancing- I did that since I was a kid! lol!!

I went into the guys toilet by accident and saw them playing.. with their.. 'guns' ahem** ok. So I guess they had some fun there.. There was one guy who liked me and another I was crazy about. Kenneth likes me and is my neighbour. I invited him over to eat when I was younger. It wasn't until we were in our early teens did he tell me that he actually likes me. But I felt more harassed than anything. Sorry pal, we just ain't meant to be ok? doesn't matter if you're standing outside my door or calling and telling me all those things that I don't wanna hear =p Glad that we're still good neighbours. ;)

The guy that I liked.. was born on da same day as moi. Heck, I have an attraction for guys born on da same day =p here's a pic when we were having a party.

Sorry, I'm a bit camera shy and still am. Desparately trying to tell sis not to take my photo >.<>

enough of my kindergarten life? =_= sleepy now.

Tune in for more! erm.. haha! Bonjour!

"The road to happiness lies in two simple principles: find what it is that interests you and that you can do well, and when you find it put your whole soul into it - every bit of energy and ambition and natural ability you have."
I shall find my happiness.

Had a great time out on 30/11/07! Went viewing some exhibitions at various locations with a guy friend/ex-schoolmate =] I was a bit disappointed by the one at vivocity though.. After all the walking and traveling, I had to change my platform shoes for some slippers from bugis street. Met cho kwan and li hui there =D Had a couple of interesting things happening throughout da day =]

The rather weird thing's that I was quite quiet most of da time.. which is not the usual me you see =p but well, maybe it’s because he’s a guy and well, guys don’t talk a lot?? But it’s the first time I felt that I didn’t need to be an entertainer =] That’s a good thing cos I didn’t have enough sleep as usual but I didn’t have to push all da way and make myself ‘high’. I’d say.. da two of us are rather intuitive =p Thanks for taking me accompanying me for almost half da day! Couldn’t have gotten home on time if you didn’t know which way (like me >_<) =] sha says she’ll remember not to wear heels cos she’s quite horrified by how much we traveled! Haha =] well, I guess that’s the me I really want to be.. An enthusiastic explorer =]

Ok! Back to watching romance comedy! Really funny! =D

How's moi new blogskin? haha =D

Hello hello!! Back from… SHOPPING!! Whee~~ Janice mei mei is v honoured to be da first girl to shop with me da WHOLE DAY!! Gosh we walked and walked and walked so much till we had to rest twice =_=. Anyway, it was a great day out!

List of things bought
1 Bag
1 Pants
2 Shirts
1 Belt
3 pairs of earrings
1 hair clip
1 lip gloss
1 pair of shoes

total spent on these alone: $77~ CHEAP HUH?! Hahahaha! So sad.. sha couldn’t join us today =[ never mind, we can try again soon!!! Glad that uncle/jack came to accompany us and give some opinions =] and thanks for reaching that bag that was too high up on da shelf! Haha

what happened da whole day?
Well, I was a v good girl cos I could get out of bed easily at 7.28 though I slept at 2. Now, that’s a feat ok? Usually I will laze till I’ve spent 9 hours resting on da bed. But I got up and went straight off to dhoby. Turns out, I was too early and so I ended up waiting for mei mei (Janice)

Then we went to sit outside Plaza Sing and started studying what kinda face shape and body types we have and generate a shopping list =] With that, we just walked one round in PS and we walked out. And on the way out, I met my ex-schoolmate! Haha..So we walked and realized we walked the wrong way and had to find our way back to the front and go THIS FASHION. We stayed there for 2 hours to get a belt, a black shirt and pants. I saw this nice bag but it was about 27 bucks after discount. So we decided to go bugis street and bugis junction to look for others after lunch.

Had quite a good lunch though it’s $3.80.. then we went bugis street awhile and crossed back cos SOMEONE wants to go to the toilet =_= haha.. and we rushed to the toilet like nobody’s business. Then I was eyeing on a $20 dollars bag, I met my ex-schoolmate again! Haha.. quite a long time interval and no, it wasn’t planned. But anyways =] it’s ok. Then uncle/jack came along! Took us 3 minutes to realize that cos we were so engrossed looking at other bags. So we didn’t get anything except for my hair clip and we walked back to bugis street! Mei eyed on a bag.. and thought it was $9.90 and turned out to be $17 plus. We walked almost the whole place to get another blouse looking shirt (mei bought it too!) and looked at hundred pairs of shoes before finding some comfy one.. I spent $20 and mei spent $19.90 on shoes =D and bought da cheap bag at $17. really big! I could fit my shoe box in! haha!

Yup, with that we crossed the road back to bugis junction in the rain and nearly made news. Mei mei’s slippers dropped out and we were screaming as we crossed cos there’s a car coming and well, serve us right for not waiting for the traffic lights.. yup.. we were so tired and thirsty we rested at Macs twice and got free water refill thanks to da sweet guys at the counter. Oh, then we couldn’t find a place to rest so we shared with this guy who’s a bit weird. He’s young and he keeps looking at us as we talked. Actually, I found him rather familiar but I know he’s not my old friend..so it was really awkward (esp when he see us and kinda smiled mischievously and even said ‘see you’ after we left! Yup, we headed to THE BODYSHOP and tested some perfumes, but it was a bit too ex and we gave it a miss. Next stop, Watson! Haha. They’ve got some good deals there. I bought my lip gloss for $3.90? kept testing the different shades until I found the one that was quite nice on me =D got a darker shade haha!! Jan kept going 'you like it?' like the guy on mocca dot com. =D I was saying, 'want to see more? the __ is over there! checking my matching accessories =D Then we decided to head back to KFC at hougang and get some cheesefries before Jan meets the rest to attend the wake. =[ Too bad dad won’t let me go..

Ok.. so that’s a quick summary of what we did for da WHOLE DAY and yup, I had fun with eye shadow too (didn’t buy cos I couldn’t find something suitable) Thanks mei mei and uncle for going out with me =] *hugs hugs. Was v amusing cos mei ask me to bargain for her shoes like how I bargain for my bag. But they won’t budge. Uncle and I said it was at equilibrium price le and so cannot lower. Then we thought, no it’s monopoly cos they fix the price and you decide whether you want or not.. can only get from this shop. So mei was a bit sad and happy anyway cos she got her shoes!!

Ok, so I’m back home and took a long bathe plus soaked my feet in warm water till they turned pink! It’s v relaxing after a long day! Have fun, people! =D

See ya!

Added after I found some horrible truths!
The shop ppl lied to me/us! The blouse-shirt cannot be worn!! oh no! and the pants has a small hole! Gotta go and change them =[ well, first time shopping is like first time doing a maths question. Make mistake, do corrections lo. but I got a scolding from my dad and mum.. cos they think what I bought ain't good and dad says I should have bought stuff from THIS FASHION *humphs. really angry ok. but then, if I'm going to die tomorrow, what for I get angry over such small stuff?

Sigh.. seize the day and live like there's no tomorrow.

Life is unpredictable.

Even a bright candle flame that seems to be burning steadily, can be extinguished suddenly.

When I got to know that Mr Loh was missing, I silently prayed. But I knew there was nothing I could really do to help. Perhaps, deep inside, we already knew what the end was going to be like. Until evening, our fears were confirmed and there, he's gone. Somehow, my mind conjured images of his death.. it hurts. But it didn't hurt as much until all the memories we shared came flooding back. I admit, I cried.. (even as I am typing)

I still remember a couple of months ago, how he told us he was excited about this trip, how hard they trained every week. He said he liked this meaningful life. I still remember his smile, his energy, his zest for life.. Still remember how he told us to relax and don't get so stressed.. that exams aren't all that scary..

Mr Loh, though we may not be very closely related, I can tell you are a good man. When you're gone, it means that a parent lost a son, a sister lost a brother, a teacher lost a student, a student lost a teacher, a friend lost a friend..

But you know what? You're still very alive in our (at least, my) memory.. and I'll always remember you ='} Though you may not have made it back, I'll continue running this race of life and bring joy to this world.

I love you and may you rest in peace.

For that, I shall not post the cursing session because I know how much it hurts for someone to lose another loved one.

hello hello! Freed from studying today! Had fun getting lost in IKEA. [ya.. that one in Tampines] just slacked da whole day chatting on da phone for almost 2 hours, watching tv for 3-4 hours.. yea. I'm so cut out to be a total slacker. ;)

As promised.. I wanna express my heartfelt gratitude to da people who cared and gave me the strength to go on when I thought everything was lost.

Let's start with da teachers =]
Mr Tan (ET): Thanks a lot for all da coaching since the start of the year. Man, I couldn't have done it without you =] you are my hero! [saving me from wacky maths questions] pushing me when I wanna slack.. guiding me when I got totally lost in the complex world of complex numbers.. Yea.. even your photo in my phone motivated me to do more maths =p (shi fu! wo ai ni!)

Ms Wong: Thanks for all da one-one consultation. I think I took up a lot of your free time too. Sorry about that. Talked sooo long on da phone for bio. Thanks a lot. You made me a better bio student. Yea, I know my results don't really show but hey, I really STILL love bio =]

Mr Lee: Hi! Though you keep asking me to be less stupid, I think I still am a bit stupid in econs class ba. But I really enjoyed your lessons.. cos they were stress-free. I’m sorry if I didn’t do well. BUT it’s poor time management ^_^ not dunno. Anyway, it’s over and I just hope that things will be fine.

Ms Sim: Hello.. thank you for going through the TEN-YEAR SERIES in TEN DAYS. Though I have to say, I hated paper 3 and I guess paper 1 was quite tough, I’m proud to say that I have put in a lot more effort in chem this time. Whether I do well or not.. let fate decide. =]

Ms Masnidah: Hihi, thank you for teaching gp from square one. Though I think you find it exasperating to teach us, the efforts are not wasted (hopefully) Thank you so much for bringing up so many issues throughout the year.

Mr Leong: I had a crush on you! (oops) Thanks for being a nice teacher, always telling us jokes in class. I really loved your lessons =]

Ok.. now for my buddies out there!

Shasha: jie jie :’) 2 years is over so fast and I thought this is just the beginning of our friendship. Thank you for hugging me when I need some comfort and when I cry (so embarrassing in school le) Thanks for encouraging me when I’m slacking and not mugging hard enough, teaching me some weird chem stuff when I’m blur.. Thanks for showering me with so many gifts too =] Haha.. no matter where you are, we’ll be sisters always ;) And I’ll be da children’s gan ma next time! Keep in touch!

Janice: Mei mei..thanks for being da stable partner, handling all da admin stuff when I hang >.< I’ve learnt a lot from you.. Being more responsible and resilient =] Thanks for being my ‘go to sleep’ buddy and calling me at 11.30 so that I don’t sleep too late. Thanks for sharing so much with me =]

Jie Lin: hello darling! Sama sama, thanks for calling me to go sleep >.< and sharing all da good/bad times.

Benjamin: Hihi! Thanks for being my gp buddy and ‘wake up call’ buddy. So sorry to trouble you when we don’t really take the same subjects. But I had lotsa fun talking to you^_^ and yea, so sorry for being a piggy and not wakin up on my own. Seriously, if you know someone’s gonna wake you up, then you’re more likely to wake up. =] and you’re an early bird [I’m da night owl, see?]

Jack: Long Jun! thanks for being a faithful, stable friend.. sometimes when I gabrah, you were there to comfort me =] Thanks for teaching kinetics late at night! Gosh.. I think I know it so much better =] And yup, we are good friends! (not couple k? couple = F x d , where d is the length of the parallel beam =_=) Thanks for all da lame jokes and sorry if I scared you when I was in emo mode, crying and pressing my calculator that’s not turned on =p

Esther: Oh dearie, thanks for being a funny fren. Had lotsa fun studying with you in da lib. Do try to be more optimistic k? =] You can do it!

Xinhui: Yo! Thanks for mugging chem at 2-3am with me! ^_^ good motivation then! Enjoyed mugging with you, really. You have a lot of drive. Haiz. I feel like a super slacker. If not for you guys, I won’t be so motivated to study ;)

And all da people who sent their well wishes including hippo, kim, quan, sel, Fiona, jacinda and Damien!

Lastly, for moi family..

Thank you for being soo considerate.. you guys won’t even turn up da volume of da tv.. in case it might disturb me.. and I’m utterly sorry for giving in to temptation all da time, popping by just to catch a bit of da programme..

Thanks dad, no matter how horrible sounding you may be, I know that you have my best interests at heart. I love you a lot and no matter how angry I may get at any time, this will never change.

Thanks mum, though you get as quirky as dad during this period, I know that you guys are more worried than I am. Thanks for caring soooo much.. [but seriously, I need to grow up.. you need to give me some space to grow up, no?]

Thanks jie, for giving us a cute little jun sian! Haha.. holding him makes me forget my worries. He takes after you =] Has got this handsome smile that’s so sweet! =D

freedom soon!! free from textbooks/notes/prelim papers/exams papers/nightmares!!!!! yup! I'll be released on 22/11/2007. Available for dates but I gotta checked. Currently booked on 25,27 Nov and some day in Dec. (By jie jie and mei mei, of course. Not uncle, in case you weirdos start thinking weird stuff..) Exams aren't over yet, so I shan't talk too much. Have been doing lotsa tickle tests just to feel less stressed ^_^ Shall upload some interesting results.
Post exams blogging plans:
1. Thanking session
2. Cursing session
3. Change blogskin
4. Post exam plans
5. Recounting da school days before I forget them. =]

I know I know.. I'm still slacking =

Saw this on y.q's blog and I thought I wanna draft out 8 things my perfect partner should have too ^_^ I believe there can be no perfect partner.. so having this 8 things are quite good..

My hubby should be..
1. SENSIBLE: Cos I tend to get into a lot of trouble, acting on impulse and need some on to at least think through da consequences of my actions.
2. SMART: well, I don't think I'm very smart.. So it's good to have a smart hubby and smart people can influence you and make you a bit smarter ^_^
3. ADVENTUROUS: owing to my deprived teenage years and childhood, I so totally need someone who can stand my craziness sometimes and play some exciting games/go on some nice backpacking trips/just having fun.
4. PATIENT: Well, I'm still quite a kid (at least for now, and I really tried to grow up but guess I'm not determined enough) So I need a guy who won't mind if I got into my one of my sulky days and saying things that I don't mean to say..
5. GENEROUS: I can't stand guys who are petty and selfish. I consider that as un-manly behaviour. Being generous doesn't mean being extravagent. It just means that you can bear to part with a little of what's yours and share it with someone else. Though my dad always say I'm silly.. (he's of the idea that I should learn to 'take' and not keep giving) I think that what I've given others is not really enough..
6. HUMOUROUS: I love funny guys who can make me laugh till my cheek aches. haha. oops.. well, I'm quite a class clown and would love to have another join da circus! Plus, laughter is the best medicine when I'm down =] and I can cheer my guy up if he's sad too..
7. FAITHFUL: Oh yea.. I can't stand guys who flirt AFTER they have girlfriends. I'm not exactly a traditional lover. But hey, I'm an OBSESSIVE love. Meaning, if I really love someone, I'd give all that I've got and give/demand his attention. (scary, huh?) So.. being an attention-seeker, I can't really stand it when my guy sets his eyes on some other girl..(I might gorge his eyes out! meooow!)
8. MOTIVATED: No point having a guy who's smart, patient, generous, faithful, adventurous, humourous and sensible but no energy.. It'll be difficult to get things done if the guy just doesn't want to do anything.. Though I have lots of energy to supply, I need another energy rich guy to make things happen! ^_^ Must have enough energy to overcome Ea (activation energy) and be in the correct orientation to have a reaction! (haha.. depends on what reaction you're thinking about..)

Am I asking for too much? Does this guy exist? Even if he does, perhaps he's not meant for me?? Oh well.. Hope the future will be better with or without this person..

Are you emotionally and spiritually deprived?

Jasmine, you scored 30%!
You are in an emotional / spiritual state of starvation... especially if you scored below 40%... Wake up and remind yourself that you are on this planet for a reason... to learn and grow, not to aviod yourself! You deserve to feel better than this! :)

Congratulations. You are YELLOW. YELLOWS are motivated by FUN. They are inviting and embrace life as a party that they're hosting. They love playful interaction and can be extremely sociable. They are highly persuasive and seek instant gratification. YELLOWS need to be adored and praised. While YELLOWS are carefree, they are sensitive and highly alert to others' agendas to control them. YELLOWS typically carry within themselves the gift of a good heart.
YELLOWS need to look good socially, and friendships command a high priority in their lives. YELLOWS are happy, articulate, engaging of others and crave adventure. Easily distracted, they can never sit still for long. They embrace each day in the "present tense" and choose people who, like themselves, enjoy a curious nature. YELLOWS are charismatic, spontaneous, and positive; but can also be irresponsible, obnoxious, and forgetful. When others interact with you, as a YELLOW you respond to them best if they take a positive, upbeat approach and promote light-hearted, creative, and fun interactions with you.

Understand that no two YELLOWS are exactly alike. Although you share the same core motivation as many others, your personality is still unique to you alone.
ENFPs have a tendency to overextend themselves in both their physical and emotional commitments. Their proclivity to procrastinate and to overlook details complicates their circumstances. ENFPs often move on to new ventures without completing those they have already started. Their charming personalities can show signs of irritability and over-sensitivity when their desires to please different people come into conflict. During times of stress, ENFPs feel alienated. They then engage in deceptions that serve to obscure what is occurring within themselves.
The ENFP finds symbolic meanings behind the immediate circumstances. These meanings are construed as foreboding problems when ENFPs are under stress. Having a pervasive feeling of losing control over their own independent identities, ENFPs will feel virtually split apart by intruding circumstances. They will be "besides themselves" and "just not all there" — as if something, or someone, has taken away the essence of who they are. Not feeling like themselves, the ENFP will become subject to their own feelings of shame for being a phony, a fake or an impostor. If stress continues to grow, they may attribute malevolent schemes to others in order to explain away their fears.

Jasmine, your perfect pet is a Cat
When it comes to finding the puuuur-fect pet, you should look no further than a cute little puss in boots. Just like your feline counterpart, you'd never shy away from a challenge. Always inquisitive, you're known for being a little quiet, but that's just because you like to take it all in before you make a move. Watching your kitty bat away at a ball of string? Feeling her purr against your stomach? Now that's the cat's meow!Independent, self-confident, and self-assured, you like to make friends and hang out on your own terms. So now that the cat's out of the bag, go bag one of your own!

told you I love cats.. can get me that stuffed toy from PS?? black cat with green eyes~~ meowz =^.^=
tired tired tired.. life is horrible with all the studying~ I know I shouldn't complain because I'm so much more fortunate than others.. but seriously~ how do you measure happiness? which is better? to be stressed but have all the material needs fulfilled or to be less materially satisfied but less stressed at the same time? What am I working so hard for?? I want to go to a uni.. but I don't wish to kill half my brain cells before I achieve that.. I want to help the people around me.. but must I study that hard to get there?

I know my study method is screwed because I'm flipping my sleeping patterns and my biological system is getting a bit cranky.. Sometimes I really feel lonely.. I hate to admit it but studying isn't as fun as it was anymore.. Am I starting to lose my innate curiosity?

Xinhui- thanks for being my chem buddy~ hope we can do well =] let's see if we can find a decent time slot..

Back from hell.

Hi folks.. Guess everyone's at least almost finishing their nightmarish papers.

I've never studied so much in my entire life.. really. Cos I've never been so disciplined to wake up early in the morning (like 5.30am and I slept at 1am) and even hear my own alarm ring. Whatever it is.. I've really tried my best this time round.. And I hope to get some decent grades.. NO MORE Us or Ss.

Was asking people what they would feel if I died

Ma: I would cry even if my 18 yr-old dog died. Of course I would cry and get upset if you died.
[THANKS SO MUCH FOR COMPARING ME WITH A DOG =_=]

Dad:Don't say such things la! Papa will die first. You still have a long long way to go.

Sis: Don't be silly! *laughs.. anyway, I'd cry for my dog too.
[Thanks meano.. like mum like daughter]

Friend: Nothing much, really.
[Are you really a friend??]

Gosh.. No one really cares if I died ='[ yea.. who would? life goes on. I'm just one insignificant freak removed from the millions of homosapiens. OH WHATEVER! If I died, I won't care and I can't care either!

Ok... post-exam-sleep-deficient-nonsense-spounting-syndrome

ha =_= see ya!

Most romantic line a guy can say to me:

'No matter what happens, I'll always be there for you.'

-guilty. I was watching tv =p hey! we all need some time to de-stress (especially after some crappy GP exam =p)

Venus in Libra Applied to Jasmine's Natural MateWhen Jasmine was born, the "Goddess of Love" was in Libra the Balance. So, does Jasmine have a thing for folks who are always weighing things? Or who are utterly balanced themselves? In a sense, yes. The real point here is that Jasmine responds in a viscerally romantic way to people who take a balanced attitude toward everything, who aren't dogmatic, and who can have their own opinions and still entertain Jasmine's perspectives, even when they're miles apart...people who are fair, in other words. This sense of balance and proportion suffuses more than the mental attitudes of someone who is wired to trigger Jasmine’s gut responses. Anyone would also observe it instantly in the way such an individual dresses, decorates a home, and deals with people: there is elegance, a sense of style that, while never pretentious or loud, always seems pretty close to perfection. Jasmine has a real appreciation of beauty; the natural romantic partner may or may not have been blessed by the gods physically in that department, but one point is sure: such an individual will present an appearance, in action as well as in more material concerns that maximizes whatever beauty, inner or outer, those gods may have offered.

Jasmine, the best match for your personality is Leo
Leo, the Lion (July 23 to August 22): This generous and faithful partner is just your type. Initially, a Leo may catch your eye with their outgoing ways and flamboyant personal presence. But as you get to know them, you're even more likely to be drawn to your Leo's strength and loyalty. Be aware, people born under this sign are known for seeking pleasure at every turn. Typically, they aren't afraid to take risks to get what they want. This can-do, forceful nature can make Leos seem a bit domineering at times. However, a Leo partner will also usually be very willing to work through any problems that arise between the two of you. In the bedroom, you'll likely find the Lion to be a romantic lover with an ample sex drive. This is just another aspect of their love for life, attention, and fun.

"When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn."

Dear lord, do you need a new bottle to fill my tears and a new book to track my sorrows?

I pray that the tide will turn and that I won't have to sail against the current..

1. I'm finally more feminine. Finally because I used to act very much like a boy. Play boys' stuff.. like girls??? (hey, a girl liked me to the point she kissed me, ok?) But you people know that I'm finally liking guys??? meow meow meow~

2. I like guys with their boyish charms and guys who are quite intellectual?? not nerd =_= but =] ok.. i guess I'm ok with geeks so long as they are funny? less optimist.. ok. [I seem like one] But yea, most of the time I'm the one cheering people up! now's da stress period.. so I may seem a little down. I derive my energy from people around me.. so =] cheer up, folks!

4. I wanna go on a world tour!!

5. If I get married.. then we'll go on a honeymoon world tour and come back with 3 more people ^_^ If not.. then, it's just me.. and me.. and me.. and me.. oh! and finally someone who wants to marry me?? =p whatever! I wanna go on a world tour!!

8. I love massages!! Too bad not many people know how to do it and do it well. So sometimes I massage myself. But the feeling is just different when someone does it for you. And because I'm quite good at it, my dad and mum are willing and able to pay be some money to get a good body massage! haha.. so that's how I earn EXTRA pocket money. and *AHEM someone promised me a massage~~ I'm not forgetting =p

9. I'm an ENFP.. they say personality types change over time.. But I still an ENFP for as long as I remember.. Looking for my counterpart.. ISTJ.. quite strange.. do opposites REALLY attract? 10. I'm a pena-holic.. people who know me long enough knows that I buy pens whenever I'm happy or not happy. So I have a large collection of pens at home. I counted.. there should be AT LEAST 100 of them so far? And the amount of money that I spent on pens should be enough to get me the second edition of zen stone.. 2GB

ok.. that's all for now. If you like to be my friend just contact me somehow ok? it's not that hard. Looking for the right guy is hard =p bday wish-> hear someone say I love you? those words are not easy to say when it comes from the heart =p but hey I say it as easily as I breathe =p cos I mean it.

Get to know yourself better
Your view on yourself:You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?
Your views on education: Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
How do you view success:You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.
What are you most afraid of:You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.
Who is your true self:You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
"When you paint success pictures in your mind, you initiate an inner process whereby your attitudes, hopes, aspirations, and enthusiasm are elevated in response to an image of a more promising future. Every person who aspires must first sell themselves hope, the promise of a better life."

This story should be printed and left where you will see it often - and then everytime you come across a project you think you cannot successfully complete read this story again.

Eight-year-old Glenn Cunningham raced into a burning schoolhouse to rescue his big brother. When he regained consciousness five hours later, his brother was dead and Glenn's horribly burned legs lay limp and without feeling. Specialists urged his parents to have Glenn's legs amputated immediately - he would never walk again - but Glenn pleaded against them. Even though the toes of his left foot were gone and the bone supporting the ball of his left foot practically destroyed, Glenn was determined to walk again.
That was the summer of 1919. One week later Glenn announced he was ready to stand up. His father lifted him out of bed, stood him upright and let go. Glenn crumpled to the floor. Every day Glenn's parents carefully rubbed his dead limbs. Every day for weeks, they repeated the lifting-falling exercise. Then one day, for a few seconds, Glenn Cunningham stood on his own.
A few days later Glenn took a few small, shaky steps. His parents kept on rubbing his legs. He ate carefully and began to push himself hard, running everywhere he went - to the fields, to the store, to school.
In 1930, with no toes on his left foot and almost missing a major bone, Glenn Cunningham set a high school record for the mile run, 4:24.7. He enrolled in Kansas University and two years later qualified for the Olympics with a United States record-setting mile of 4:11.1. Despite tonsillitis at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1932, he still finished fourth. He defeated milers around the world, repeatedly breaking his own records. In his early thirties he retired, holding the world mile record of 4:04.4.
